About Instant Finance

At Instant Finance, they pride themselves on being a leading provider of financial services, empowering their customers through tailored financial solutions. With a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and operational excellence, they’re looking for a proactive, dynamic Branch Manager to lead the Rotorua branch to new heights.

The Role

As Branch Manager, you will drive the development and operational performance of the Rotorua branch. You will manage a small but dedicated team, overseeing branch performance and day to day operations, staff development, and customer retention. You will be instrumental in achieving business growth, revenue targets, and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management & Development: Lead, coach, and develop the team to achieve performance goals. Foster a positive work environment and implement training programs to address individual development needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain a high level of customer retention and satisfaction, promote new business opportunities, and assist with promotions in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage performance, sales targets, and branch safety standards.
  • Branch & Regional Development: Collaborate with the Regional Manager on long-term strategy, budgeting, and forecasting. Foster business growth and manage the region’s ledger quality, ensuring adherence to lending and credit risk strategies.
  • Reporting & Decision Making: Prepare detailed reports for management, support the Regional Manager in decision-making processes, and ensure that branch financials align with business goals.
  
  
What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven track record in leading teams, driving performance, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of the finance sector and ability to identify and act on business opportunities.
  • Excellent numerical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the finance or insurance industry, including lending, credit management preferable.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing and developing a team within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and their application within the finance industry.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating strategic foresight and operational management.
