Also, proudly local who strongly support the business community, they work hard to help businesses protect themselves against the unpredictable and the unknown.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a fabulous opportunity to join a fun team in providing insurance operational and administration broker support to enable the delivery of high-quality professional risk and insurance advice and solutions to clients. Typical work activities include preparing renewals, processing of non-renewals, acting as a back-up for client service and market liaison and assisting the broker in the handling of claims when needed. The work is varied with plenty of growth opportunities!

Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated capacity for working in a similar role within the Financial Services, Insurance or Banking industry.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate to advance), and Outlook.
- Maintaining skill levels and competency as per IBANZ and legislative requirements.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to be proactive and have initiative when managing and taking ownership of tasks.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Level 5 of the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services or the desire to study towards this.
