Pukeroa Oruawhata Group are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take charge of managing the Accounts Payable functions for the Group. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Property Management Team and external suppliers to ensure seamless financial operations.
Nga kawenga | Key Responsibilities:
- Process and code incoming creditor invoices on a daily basis
- Collaborate with the Property team to handle accounts payable schedules
- Manage data entry and re-invoicing requests
- Communicate effectively with Vendors/Creditors
- Reconcile AP aged report balances
- Prepare batch payments
- Handle additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in accounts payable. Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero is essential. Your organizational skills, methodical approach, and adept time management will set you up for success. Numerical literacy and excellent communication are key attributes. You'll also excel at relationship building and maintenance. Proven experience in transacting Accounts Payable – invoicing, coding, batching payments is essential.
